The purpose of the CNC Programmer Training Roadmap is to train the employee in CNC programming in order to program, setup and operate a CNC machine. It includes the following components:

ACT’s WorkKeys is a job skills assessment program that helps employers select, hire, train, develop, and retain a high-performance workforce. WorkKeys assesses employee competence in a number of areas. Before enrolling participants in training, TMA administers the following WorkKeys assessments to determine the participant’s readiness for training.
- Applied Mathematics
- Locating Information
- Reading for Information
Individuals taking all three assessments are eligible for a National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC).
